The 2025 Community Kite Festival is scheduled for Saturday, March 1, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Jaycees Building in John Hunt Park. The exhibit space is free to nonprofits and some children, families and youth-serving organizations, and the festival is free to the public.

If you choose to attend, we will need you to be set up no later than 10 a.m.on Saturday morning. Tables are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Each organization will be allowed one booth (depending on the different issues one organization/group is addressing) at no charge. We will provide one 6’ table and two chairs for each booth. You may bring your own tablecloths. Please note that limited power will be available for any electrical setup.

You may have any educational materials (flyers, pamphlets, brochures) about your group for distribution on your table. Posters are acceptable if they can be mounted securely. We will not be able to provide easels. No sales are allowed.

Please bring a kite that represents your agency/organization. A kite should represent your organization through a particular color choice. In addition, the kite should have a short 2-3 word phrase with or without your logo that conveys the message of your organization/group.
